Salubrious is defined as: "favorable to or promoting health or well-being." This blog is designed to be a repository of those things which I find to be salubrious in nature; in other words, promoting health or well-being in my own life (and maybe others).

Quick Review: Wild (book)
I just finished reading Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail by Cheryl Strayed. I give it four stars. It was very well-written, and Ms. Strayed was very candid. I enjoyed the memoir; it reminded me of Elizabeth Gilbert's Eat, Pray, Love (five stars). Both memoirs are inspiring and worth the read. If you enjoy memoirs and journeys, both of these books may interest you.

Quick Review: The King's Speech (Movie)
Watched The King's Speech this past weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush were both superb; I am impressed with the abilities of each, and heartily recommend the movie to anyone above the age of 17 ... there is language that may be offensive to some, but it is necessary (and only someone who has seen the movie will understand why).

Mono-Tasking
"Maybe the reason my memory is so bad is that I always do at least two things at once. It's easier to forget something you only half-did or quarter did."
